Site Director (NSD)

The Site Director (NSD) is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the facility with respect to assuring a quality milieu that is as aesthetically appealing and safe as it is programmatically sound.  The Residence Manager is the main link in assuring the provision of exemplary childcare services to youth residing in the facility.

 Essential Functions

  • Assures child care coverage in accordance to agency and state standards; prepares childcare workers’ schedules. 
  • Approves time sheets (payroll) and prepares overtime reports.   
  • Recommends the hiring and firing of childcare staff within the facility.   
  • Orients new childcare staff; supervises and evaluates all childcare staff.  
  • Oversees the fiscal management of the facility with respect to petty cash fund clothing purchasing, food ordering, household and personal hygiene supplies, etc. 
  • Assures quality of group home milieu. 
  • Responsible for appearance and safety of facility.
  • Other related tasks that may be assigned


  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
  • Knowledge and experience in residential childcare requires;
  • Minimum of two years supervisory experience required.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
