Solution Based Casework Implementation Coordinator

We are looking for a Solution Based Casework Implementation Coordinator who will oversee the general implementation and maintenance of all solution based casework activities for the Preventive sites located at Jamaica, Liberty and Far Rockaway.

Essential Functions:

  • Responsibility for the general implementation and coordination of Solution Based Casework (SBC) activities throughout the Preventive programs.
  • Collaborate with Supervisors to ensure that all new intakes and existing cases are converted to the SBC model, within the stipulated time frame
  • Develop and implement of ongoing training curriculum for new and current employees.
  • Coordinate all activities around the certification process for coaches, supervisors and case planners
  • Attend all SBC citywide meetings, and be the lead person to disseminate information from these meetings to staff
  • Collaborate with implementation committee and QI to develop research around the impact of the solution based casework in our practice with families.
  • Represent the agency at the monthly NYC multi agency implementation meetings.
  • Provide ongoing supervision and guidance to Senior Case Planners so that they may provide ongoing support to all units.
  • Other duties as assigned.



  • Preference for New York State Licensed Master of Social Work Degree or licensed within 1 year of hire. 
  • SBC or EBM training required, SBC Certified preferred 
  • Vigorous commitment to the SBC form of casework.
  • Good writing, relationship and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of child welfare systems.
