PT Quality Improvement Specialist

Sheltering Arms is seeking a Quality Improvement Specialist to evaluate programs for compliance and quality standards. Collects and compiles programmatic data and generates reports for tracking, monitoring, and ongoing quality improvement of programs.  

  • Read, know, and adhere to all governing agency, Sheltering Arms, and Quality Improvement Department requirements and professional conduct expectations.
  • Conduct monitoring and evaluation activities such as read case files, conduct site visits, review logs, to assess for compliance and quality/best practice.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance for auditing purposes and respond to audit/evaluation needs.
  • Complete and distribute written review findings as requested.
  • Prepare data and compliance reports as requested
  • Assist with data reconciliation and clean-up
  • Awareness of and sensitivity to cultural and socioeconomic characteristics of persons and population served
  • Responsible for maintaining and ensuring compliance with client and agency confidentiality standards and ethical expectations
  • Responsible for participating in staff development, including attendance in training as required and/or requested
  • Detail oriented, flexible, and organized. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to take initiative and troubleshoot.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • May require a flexible schedule

Qualifications:

  •  MSW or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
  •  3 years in child welfare or other social service system(s)
  •  Ability to demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills.
  •  Demonstrated proficiency in Word, Excel, and Access and
  •  knowledge of management information systems. Willingness and ability to learn new systems.
