Temporary HR Coordinator

Job Summary: The Human Resources Coordinator is a key position in the flow of the Human Resources Department. The position works closely with the Human Resources Generalists  and Human Resources Manager to facilitate the Human Resource processes. Essential duties include data entry, onboarding, background checks, benefits coordination, and administrative support of the day-to-day human resources operations.

Hourly Rate: $16.00 per hour, 24 hours per week 

Essential Functions

  • Data entry of new hire packets in to HRIS. 
  • Provide customer service functions by answering employee questions and requests.
  • Coordinate the new hire process ( schedule on-boarding appointments, process paperwork, and guides candidates, background checks).
  • Provide administrative support as directed (faxing, filing, scanning, phones, etc).
  • Other administrative tasks and duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Some college credits (at least 60) required; Bachelor Degree preferred
  • At least one year of  experience in Administrative or Human Resources support required 
  • Must be organized and able to manage time efficiently
  • Must be articulate, competent, and have a willingness for professional development 
  • Knowledge of ADP or other HRIS Systems preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Publisher, Word, Outlook and Excel
