Sheltering Arms is seeking a case manager to provide advocacy, referrals, and ongoing support to link high risk negative and HIV positive women, to needed services including primary medical care and health education services.

Essential Functions

  • Provide Linkage ad Navigation services to address short term and long term needs of clients
  • Provide advocacy and referrals to other Sheltering Arms programs and outside agencies
  • Maintain client files and documents including updating charts, completing intakes, progress notes, goal assessments, and service plans according to established time lines
  • Accompany clients to appointments
  • Home and hospital visits
  • Enter client related and program data into AIRS database system
  • Complete and submit monthly reports on time


  • Bachelor’s degree required 
  • Knowledge of services and entitlements for individuals affected or infected by HIV/AIDS
  • Group facilitation experience.
  • Must possess great social and interpersonal skills
  • Strong presentation and writing skills
  • Has intermediate level HIV/AIDS and STI/STD knowledge
  • Sensitive to cultural, ethnic and gender orientation differences
  • Ability to read and write English proficiently
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish/English preferred
