Job Summary: The Program Coordinator of Residential Services will serve as the QIDP of these residences, in addition to providing direct supervision of 2-3 Residence Managers and ensures the efficient coordination of supports and services to individuals residing in the Individualized Residential Alternative (IRA) setting, in which the administrative team maintains a high quality program in accordance with the mission statement and standards of the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities and Sheltering Arms Children and Family Services., i.e.: Individualized Residential Alternative “IRA” homes, personalized supports, and person-centered planning. The Program Coordinator must be able to effectively supervise/ lead, support, motivate, provide training, exercise patience, work with a flexible schedule, and respond to a variety of situations in the event of an emergency with professionalism, skill and tact. Ingenuity and creativity must be utilized when determining the best training methods, assistance, and supports provided to the management team. Overall program compliance and quality of service/care must be the foundation and core of service provision to those we serve in the residential programs.

Physical Requirements: Must have the ability to complete all direct care worker and standard administrative and support tasks including but not limited to hands-on care with consumers, climbing up and down stairs, and the ability to lift and move consumers (if necessary) up to 200 lbs, ability to lift boxes, furniture, and equipment up to 30 lbs.
