Quality Improvement Manager/Analyst

Sheltering Arms is currently looking to hire a Quality Improvement Manager to assist the Director of Quality Improvement in coordinating and monitoring the overall performance of agency programs

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and coordinate compliance for designated agency programs/departments, including adherence to professional/ethical practice, agency standards, federal, state and city regulations, and the guidelines of the Council on Accreditation
  • Research best practice and work with assigned programs to implement best practice & specific program models, design & implement policy & procedure in social services industry
  • Coordinate agency-wide and programmatic self-assessment activities, monitor program performance and model fidelity, and facilitate and organize quality improvement initiatives
  • Ensure that assigned staff completes assignment on time and with high quality
  • Use data and tacking systems to assess, monitor and report program performance and determine ongoing improvement needs
  • Work with assigned programs to prepare for governmental and Council on Accreditation reviews/audits
  • Participate in investigation as requested
  • Design, produce and analyze reports for management in furtherance of organization's goal
  • Act as agency liaison, attend community meeting and participate in agency committees and keep abreast with best industry practices
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

  • Master or Bachelor Degree in Social Work
  • Work experience in child welfare, education, or other social service system preferred
  • Ability to demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills. Detail oriented, flexible, organized and an effective communicator.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Word, Excel, and Access and knowledge of management information systems. Knowledge of management information systems. Knowledge of Connections and CCRS preferred.
  • Willingness and ability to learn new systems.

Physical Requirements: Must have the ability to complete all standard administrative and support tasks including but not limited to climbing up and down stairs, operation of computers/phones/fax/printer/copy machine, and the ability to lift boxes, furniture, and equipment up to 30lbs. Must be able to travel from the various locations and sites of Sheltering Arms.
