The Substance Abuse Treatment Counselor will assess each youth entering NSP for substance abuse within 30 days of intake, develop individual treatment plans, provide crisis consultations, provide individual and group treatment where needed, maintain client case records, document according to all funding source requirements, attend treatment team meetings, conduct staff trainings on substance abuse topics and perform other additional tasks as delegated by supervisor.
